Headshot of Nathan Murset

Nathan is a dedicated performer who views the arts as a vital tool for service. Whether through dance, song, acting, or a quieter connection with a single audience member, the work is the same — to uplift, and to send people home a little more capable than they came.

Recent stage credits range from George Q. Cannon in the Nauvoo Pageant to Jesus in Godspell and Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid. He trained vocally through Dixie High School's Madrigals and Concert Choir, and continues private study with Heidi Anderson, Mimi Knell, and Larry Vincent. He performs with the BYU Young Ambassadors and Utah Tech FUSION, and as a character performer with Ever After Events; in 2025 he served as a Nauvoo Performing Missionary.

His mission is for every individual to leave a performance feeling empowered — capable of conquering whatever challenge they brought into the room with them. Whether the house is a thousand or a single audition, the practice is the same: show up, tell the truth, offer it cleanly.

A working philosophy

For the One

Two meanings, held at once: a calling to perform for the One who is the source of the work — and a discipline of performing for the one in the seat who needs the song that night.

Whether the room is a thousand or a single audition, the practice is the same. Show up; tell the truth; offer it cleanly. Trust that it lands where it needs to.

“In a world starved for uplifting, positive, and principled artists, Nathan stands out as someone who does more than perform -- he inspires.” — Del Beatty Vice President of Student Affairs, Utah Tech University
